Pegs Baseball's Player development program is expanding and are looking to add trainers for teams, individual players and for our camps. To be considered as a candidate we require you to have baseball experience as a player and a coach. Availability is a typical spring and summer season of evening and daytime hours. Roger Mischel

Roger Mischel is a distinguished figure in the world of baseball, known for his remarkable achievements both as a player and as a coach. With a career that spans from standout performances on the field to a transformative role in coaching and mentoring young athletes, Roger has left an indelible mark on the sport. Roger's journey in baseball began during his high school years, where he quickly emerged as a standout player, demonstrating exceptional skills as both a pitcher and a solid hitter. His talent and dedication led him to attain the prestigious honor of being recognized as an All-American college pitcher during his collegiate career. Starting at Queensborough Community College, Roger honed his abilities for two seasons before transitioning to Adelphi University, where he continued to make a lasting impact.

Nick Dilorenzo

Nicholas DiLorenzo is a dedicated educator and accomplished athlete hailing from Oceanside, NY. He kick-started his academic journey at Queensborough Community College, where he earned his AA degree before pursuing his passion for exercise science at Georgetown College in KY, ultimately graduating with a BS. Nicholas currently serves as a Part-Time PE teacher at the esteemed Progressive School of Long Island, where he inspires and empowers young minds through physical education. His commitment to furthering his knowledge and expertise is evident as he pursues his MA in Physical Education, demonstrating a relentless pursuit of excellence in his field.

Tom Leonick

Tom Leonick is a multifaceted professional with a diverse background in athletics and education. Following a stellar high school career at Island Trees HS, he seamlessly transitioned into the world of collegiate athletics as a standout catcher at Division I New York Institute of Technology. Tom's passion for baseball extended beyond his playing days, leading him to a successful tenure as a coach at Queensborough Community College, where he made significant contributions during his three years as a college assistant baseball coach. In addition to his collegiate coaching experience, Tom has amassed years of expertise in training baseball players of all ages. His coaching journey began during his college years, as he dedicated himself to coaching at summer baseball camps and clinics. As his expertise grew, he ventured into coaching travel teams, where he achieved remarkable success in nurturing his players both on and off the field.
